WISDOM CORNER

A MAN WHO DECIDED TO CHANGE THE WORLD, WOULD HE BE ABLE TO CHANGE A TOWN AT ALL? READ AND SEE.

My Name is Bill, when i was a young man, i wanted to change the world. I found it was difficult to change the world, so i tried to change the nation, when i found that i couldn't change the nation, i began to focus on my town, i couldn't change the town as an older man, i decided to change my family.
Now as an old man, i realized the only thing i could change is myself. And suddenly i realized that if long ago i have changed myself i could have made an impact on  my family, my family could have made an impact on town the impact could have change the nation and i could have change the world and at the end i could indeed have changed the world.  Mahatma Gandhi said: " You must be the change you want to see in the world."
"Do you want to change the world?  Then change yourself first."

SOARING LIKE THE EAGLE

I.       SOARS: The eagle does not flap, it soars. It studies the direction of the wind and takes advantage of it. The eagle does not waste its resources, while other birds struggle to be lifted; it keys in on the currents in the air and uses them to be achieving its lifting. Instead of struggling and straining, it glides enjoying the ride and is so refreshed. You were meant to glide through life if you will look up to God and get to the top. You can live and achieve without stress by flying at the Holy Spirit's wavelength.
II.    VERY HIGH: The eagle maintains a high altitude most of the time. It is designed to exist at a level way above other birds. You were not created to be on the ground crawling, begging. God designed you for fly like the eagle, you must soar very high.
III.  SWIFT: Life requires smartness, you be prompt. Take advantage of opportunities like the eagle move in so fast when it spots and targets a pray. Remember seasons are seasonal; you don’t have all the time.
IV. TRAINER: Although the eagle is born with the potentials for soaring and other features, it stays under tutelage of the mother. The eagle learns to fly and to conquer fear so that it can soar eventually. It rides on the back of its mother until it is fully formed. You must subject yourself to training by a mentor. Be willing to follow someone until you are fully formed to carry your life purpose. The best in you can only manifest through discipline under your trainer.
V.    EYES 360°: An eagle’s vision is one of it greatest strength. Vision enables you to see beyond the surrounding obstacle. The eagle stays in one pace and sees it front, back, sides, above and below. This is why it cannot be caught unawares or attacked suddenly. Your vision protects and safeguards your life. It determines your longevity.
VI. DOESN’T FLOCK: The eagle does not move in a group. It is in a class of its own. It has a unique identity. Choose your friends. Walk with the wise and be yourself. You were designed uniquely; don’t try to be someone else.
VII.          LIVES VERY LONG: The eagle has a very long life span because it does not struggle. It understands its makeup and takes maximum advantage of its strength, so its life is prolonged. God designed you to live very long. Don’t cut short your life by worrying and grumbling. Allow Him to lead you, so you can live long.

                   GOD BLESS.

WHAT IF?

  • What if God decides to stop leading us tomorrow because we didn’t follow Him today?
  • What if God couldn’t take the time to bless us today because we couldn’t take the time to thank Him yesterday?
  • What if we never sow another flower bloom because we grumbled when God sent the rain?
  • What if God didn’t walk with us today because we failed to recognize it as His day?
  • What if God took away the Bible tomorrow because we would not read it today?
  • What if God took away His message because we failed to listen to the message?
                          . . . . . . THINK ABOUT THIS ONE. . . . . .
§  What if God didn’t send His only begotten son because He wanted us to be prepared to pay the price for sin?
§  What if the door of the church was closed because we did not open the door of our hearts?
§  What if God stopped loving and caring for us because we failed to love and care for other?
§  What if God would not hear us today because we would not listen to Him?
§  What if God answered our prayers the way we answer His call to service?
§  What if God met our needs the way we give Him our lives???
                              . . . . . . THINK ABOUT IT . . . . . .

BE YOURSELF

When you understand that God loves you unconditionally, two things will happen:
First, you'll learn to accept yourself as you are. Second, you'll learn to accept others as they are, too.
Stop and ask yourself today, "How do I really feel about myself?"
Before you answer, read the following ten things… slowly and carefully: Better yet put them somewhere where you can read them daily.
  1. Never think or speak negatively about yourself, for that puts you in disagreement with God.
  2. Meditate on your strength, learn to encourage yourself, for most of the time nobody else will.
  3. Never compare yourself with anyone else. You are unique, One-Of-a-Kind, an original. Don’t settle for being a copy.
  4. Focus on your potentials, not your limitations. Remember the "greater one" lives in you!
  5. Find something you like to do and are gifted to do well, then do it over and over.
  6. Have the courage to be difference; be a God-pleaser, not a people-pleaser.
  7. Leave to handle criticism; let it develop you instead of discouraging you.
  8. Determine your own worth before others do it for you.
  9. Keep your flaws in perspective; you’re still a work in progress.
  10. Focus daily on the one and only source of your confidence – God! Work on your relationship with Him.
From now-on begin to think and speak good think and speak good things about
yourself knowing that God loves you despite your weaknesses.
